Well, it's that time of the year for Punxsutawney Phil to peep his head out of his burrow. Will he see his shadow or won't he? Today we celebrate Groundhog Day. The celebration began with Pennsylvania's earliest settlers. Punxsutawney Phil was named after King Phillip. Prior to being called Phil, he was called Br'er Groundhog. Punxsutawney held its first Groundhog Day in the 1800s.
