Duke Gardens Teahouse: Japanese Tea Gatherings

If you live in or in the surrounding area of Durham, North Carolina, be sure to check out the events at the Duke Gardens Teahouse this spring. Guests will experience a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, poetry and the aesthetics of a Japanese tea gathering over a bowl of whisked green tea and a Japanese confection.

There will be limited seating for the following events, so be sure to make your reservations early.

Friday, Feb. 24: First Voice of Spring Tea Participant Limit: 10
Saturday, March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Tea
Friday April 13: Spring Blossoms Tea
Saturday, May 5: Mother’s Day Tea
Two seatings on all dates: the first seating is 10:45am - noon; the second seating is 1:00-2:15 pm.
Location: Meet at the Doris Duke Center
