In Great Falls, Montana the Great Falls Flower Growers Club raise money for community projects and scholarships to award to a student attending Montana College and is pursuing a degree in a horticultural-related field. The Holiday Tea is a celebratory time accomplish this goal and to spread the news about joining the garden club. This year’s theme for the Holiday Tea event focuses on elements found in nature.
Members of the Great Falls Flower Growers Club help the community by donating the “Gift of Life” arrangements to the West Campus and Sletten Cancer Institute and collecting canned goods in November for the Great Falls Community Food Bank and to the Vet Center. In addition, the Flower Growers also collect hats, mittens, scarves and socks for needy families and have a birthday party for the Senior Citizen Center attendees in January.
